  • Find Handmade Gifts at our December Shows!

by Kristin Cooper November 24, 2019

Happy Thanksgiving!

Chris and I will spend a lot more time in the studio than the kitchen this week, preparing for our next three holiday shows. We’re wishing you all wonderful Thanksgiving celebrations with your families! After you’ve slept off your turkey, we hope you’ll join us for some of our very favorite shows of the year.

Here are three fabulous ways to walk off stuffing and pumpkin pie while wrapping up your holiday shopping with locally handmade gifts:

Holiday Swing

1.) HOLIDAY SWING!

Saturday, November 30 -- 10 am to 7 pm
Sunday, December 1 -- 10 am to 5 pm
Union Station -- 30 W Pershing Rd, Kansas City, MO 64108

We love this show! Join us and our talented maker friends at the Midwest's top indie craft fair as we pop-up in Union Station for The 9th Annual Holiday Swing! KC's handmade holiday destination, with over 150 of The Midwest's greatest makers/crafters/artisans and a whole lot of Holiday FUN! Unique and handmade holiday gifts for everyone, all under one roof. You don't want to miss this! It's Etsy Made Local in Kansas City!

Kappa Holiday Boutique

2.) 2019 KAPPA HOLIDAY BOUTIQUE

New Venue: THE 1900 BUILDING (Fountain Room)
1900 Shawnee Mission Parkway
Mission Woods, Kansas 66205

Wednesday, December 4 -- 1 pm to 8 pm
Thursday, December 5 -- 10 am to 7 pm

We're returning to this fun & festive benefit show for the 4th time! The Kappa Holiday Boutique is a favorite tradition of the Kappa Kappa Gamma Holiday Homes Tour. The Boutique features a variety of local vendors showcasing everything from jewelry, home décor, artwork, new fashion must-haves, candles, and sweet treats. Admission is FREE, you do not need a ticket to visit the Boutique.

Myrna's Holiday Art Boutique

 3.) MYRNA'S HOLIDAY ART BOUTIQUE

Friday, December 6 -- 4pm to 8pm
(Opening reception with wine and hor d'oeuvres)
Saturday, December 7 -- 10am to 6pm
Sunday, December 8 -- 11am to 4pm

Location: 9700 Canterbury St, Leawood, KS 66206 (map)

We’re excited to return to Myrna’s! Bring your friends for a warm and unique gift buying experience and meet the artists. Clay sculptures, photography, painted textiles, wood, felting, handmade jewelry and more in an intimate and festive art-filled setting, this truly is a special event!

We love this time of year … it's so much fun to play a part in gift surprises! THANK YOU to all who attended our first three holiday events. Seeing you was a blast -- thanks for playing a part in making this our favorite season yet!

If you can't make it to our shows, please check our online shop to order holiday gifts for your loved ones (or yourself!). Be sure to follow us on Facebook and Instagram ... a great way to see our latest designs in progress (and sweet pics of our snuggly support staff, they play a huge role in us being able to pull off all these shows!). Also, if you see a piece of jewelry you want and don't see it in our online shop, please contact us, we'll let you know if we have it in stock or if we can make it for you.

We are so grateful to get to do what we love, and we are thankful for our amazing friends and customers for your enthusiasm, interest & support of our handmade jewelry! We couldn't do this without you!

HAVE A VERY HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!

XOXO,
Kristin & Chris
